Safelock
Simple to operate and incredibly rugged, the Harford Safelock Quickhitch System
maintains exactly the digging geometry and breakout force achieved with a conventional
setup. Safelock saves you money day-in, day-out by dramatically reducing bucket
changeover times. The simplicity of its design means low maintenance and quick fitting.
The Harford Safelock Quickhitch System simplifies the running of a mixed fleet of
excavators. Once the hitch is fitted, the machine will pick up any Safelock bucket
or attachment becoming as flexible and easy to use as a socket set.
Use the Harford Safelock with breakers too - it's a tough tool for tough jobs.
Mechanical and hydraulic models available to suit machines from 0.75 to 6 Tonnes and
Backhoe Loader. Mechanical units can be upgraded to hydraulic operation.
Lifting eye option also available.
A - Hook Safelock onto the attachment from the cab.
B - Crowd the bucket link so that the attachment locates positively on the hitch.
Red marker handle indicates clearly that the hitch is not locked.
C - Push the red marker handle fully home (activated from cab on hydraulic option).
The safety catch retains it out of sight indicating safe operating status.
